Sin embargo, la dosis requerida para la reversi\u00f3n del bnm superficial es a\u00fan desconocida, y se utiliza la misma dosis que para revertir el bnm moderado. Se investig\u00f3 si dosis menores de sugammadex en la reversi\u00f3n del bnm superficial obtienen resultados no inferiores a la dosis empleada habitualmente y si sugammadex a estas dosis es superior a la neostigmina. Se valora el impacto farmacoecon\u00f3mico de sugammadex en la reversi\u00f3n del bnm superficial.  material y m\u00e9todos: tras la aprobaci\u00f3n por el comit\u00e9 de \u00e9tica e investigaci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica, se realiz\u00f3 un estudio observacional postautorizaci\u00f3n del f\u00e1rmaco sugammadex de no inferioridad de comparaci\u00f3n de tres cohortes asincr\u00f3nicas en pacientes tratados a diferentes dosis de sugammadex y con neostigmina. Se incluyeron un total 102 pacientes. Las intervenciones quir\u00fargicas se realizaron en el hospital general universitario santa luc\u00eda (\u00e1rea de salud ii,  de la regi\u00f3n de murcia, cartagena). Para llevar a cabo la evaluaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica, se realiz\u00f3 un an\u00e1lisis de coste-efectividad y un an\u00e1lisis umbral.  resultados: sugammadex a dosis de 1 mg\u00c2\u00b7kg-1 revierte de manera eficaz y segura el bnm superficial y es superior a la neostigmina en este grado de bloqueo. Existen menos efectos adversos al utilizar sugammadex a dosis de 1 mg\u00c2\u00b7kg-1 en la reversi\u00f3n del bnm superficial que al emplear la dosis recomendada. La evaluaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica realizada demostr\u00f3 que sugammadex acorta la estancia del paciente en quir\u00f3fano y en la unidad de reanimaci\u00f3n. conclusiones: sugammadex  1 mg\u00c2\u00b7kg-1 revierte de manera efectiva el bnm superficial y es no inferior a la dosis empleada habitualmente de 2 mg\u00c2\u00b7kg-1. Sugammadex, de acuerdo al an\u00e1lisis umbral desarrollado,  es coste-efectivo en la reversi\u00f3n del bnm superficial respecto a neostigmina. However, the required dose of sugammadex for smaller degrees is still unknown, so the same dose to reverse moderate bnm is used. We investigated if lower doses of sugammadex employed in shallow nmb produce no-inferior results compared to the common dose used and if this new dose of sugammadex is better than neostigmine. The analysis of the pharmacoeconomic impact of sugammadex in shallow nmb was also performed.   methods: after getting ethics committee and clinical research approval, an observational study post-authorization of non-inferiority with comparison of three asynchronous cohorts in patients treated with different doses of sugammadex and neostigmine was performed. A total of 102 patients were included. Surgical procedures were carried out at santa lucia universitary hospital (cartagena, spain).  To perform the economic assessment, a cost-effectiveness and a threshold analysis were realized.  results: sugammadex at doses of 1 mgokg-1 reverses safely and effectively shallow nmb and is better than neostigmine. Less adverse effects have been seen employing sugammadex at doses of 1 mgokg-1 in reversing shallow nmb compared to the recommended dose. The economic assessment showed that sugammadex reduces the patient&apos;s stay in the operating room and in the recovery unit.   conclusions: sugammadex 1 mgokg-1 effectively reverses shallow nmb and it is not inferior to the commonly used dose of 2 mgokg-1. Sugammadex, according to the economic assessment developed, is cost-effective in reversing shallow nmb compared to neostigmine.
