Es un an\u00e1lisis abordado desde la perspectiva de un enfoque hermen\u00e9utico del discurso po\u00e9tico que predomina en la obra. Aqu\u00ed asumo las identidades como un constructo en permanente movilidad y cambio. He aqu\u00ed un enfoque antropol\u00f3gico y cultural, donde el enfoque filos\u00f3fico permea el corpus po\u00e9tico de la obra. Este an\u00e1lisis consta de ocho (8) cap\u00edtulos: en el primer cap\u00edtulo analizo la relaci\u00f3n que existe entre la filosof\u00eda y la literatura, dentro del discurso po\u00e9tico villegasiano. En el segundo cap\u00edtulo trato el tema iron\u00eda e identidad en juan criollo y otras antieleg\u00edas. En el tercer cap\u00edtulo abordo el tema juan criollo y otras antieleg\u00edas y sus identidades, a partir de la evocaci\u00f3n de los mitos poetizados. Aqu\u00ed estudio a juan criollo desde su dimensi\u00f3n m\u00edtica. En el cap\u00edtulo cuatro trato el tema de lo dial\u00f3gico en el discurso identitario y po\u00e9tico de juan criollo y otras antieleg\u00edas, enfocando mi an\u00e1lisis en el funcionamiento de la dialog\u00eda del sujeto dentro del texto po\u00e9tico. En el cap\u00edtulo cinco analizo el predominio del ritmo en el texto y el manejo de la ritmicidad en la obra. En el cap\u00edtulo seis, trato la b\u00fasqueda de las identidades en el texto, situando mi an\u00e1lisis en el referente dominicano poetizado en la obra.  En los cap\u00edtulos siete y ocho estudio la narrativa, la cotidianidad, la memoria, el localismo y lo universal, desde su valor est\u00e9tico, filos\u00f3fico y humano, dentro de la discursividad po\u00e9tica villegasiana.
