Las diferentes respuestas, respecto al material en estado volum\u00e9trico, fueron estudiadas a trav\u00e9s de diversas t\u00e9cnicas como: calorimetr\u00eda diferencial de barrido, espectroscopia diel\u00e9ctrica de banda ancha, difracci\u00f3n de rayos-x y microscop\u00eda de fuerzas at\u00f3micas.Varios m\u00e9todos de preparaci\u00f3n de pol\u00edmeros confinados en 1, 2 y 3 dimensiones fueron probados y aplicados. En cada caso, se inici\u00f3 con un pol\u00edmero amorfo o semicristalino, el cual se proces\u00f3 posteriormente hasta obtener una nanoestructura. Se presentan las ventajas y desventajas de cada m\u00e9todo de preparaci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, los diferentes m\u00e9todos de preparaci\u00f3n se resaltan en modo paso-a-paso.Las propiedades e implicaciones f\u00edsicas de pol\u00edmeros confinados en diversas geometr\u00edas son estudiadas en diferentes cap\u00edtulos, cada uno en lo que respecta a una propiedad particular. Iniciamos presentando los resultados en cambios en la temperatura de transici\u00f3n v\u00edtrea en pol\u00edmeros confinados. En este caso encontramos que nanoesferas polim\u00e9ricas presentan una temperatura de transici\u00f3n v\u00edtrea m\u00e1s que el pol\u00edmero. Para explicar y discutir los resultados, se presenta un modelo basado en la entrop\u00eda de los sistemas. Se argumenta que la dependencia de la transici\u00f3n v\u00edtrea en sistemas confinados est\u00e1 relacionada con el n\u00famero de unidades de repetici\u00f3n englobadas en la estructura confinada. Luego, presentamos resultados acerca de los procesos de cristalizaci\u00f3n en geometr\u00edas confinadas. En el caso de pel\u00edculas delgadas polim\u00e9ricas se observ\u00f3 que la restricci\u00f3n impuesta por la geometr\u00eda afecta a la morfolog\u00eda cristalina y a la tasa de cristalizaci\u00f3n. Asimismo, se muestra c\u00f3mo la adsorci\u00f3n entre la pel\u00edcula polim\u00e9rica y el sustrato soporte toma importancia cuando los espesores del pol\u00edmero se reducen en torno a las decenas de nan\u00f3metros. Finalmente, presentamos las propiedades ferroel\u00e9ctricas de pol\u00edmeros confinados en diferentes nanoestructuras. Tanto nanoaprt\u00edculas como pel\u00edculas delgadas polim\u00e9ricas son evaluadas. M\u00e1s all\u00e1 de las propiedades ferroel\u00e9ctricas fundamentales, proponemos la posibilidad de desarrollar dispositivos f\u00edsicos, basados en nanoestructuras, para sistemas de memoria
