La \u00f3ptica difusa es una fuerte candidata para la monitorizaci\u00f3n no invasiva y repetida del tejido profundo. En este trabajo multidisciplinario y traslacional, constru\u00ed e implement\u00e9 dispositivos h\u00edbridos que son la combinaci\u00f3n de dos m\u00e9todos cualitativamente diferentes: espectroscop\u00eda infrarroja de \u00f3ptica difusa -near infrared diffuse optical spectroscopy (nirs)- y espectroscop\u00eda de correlaci\u00f3n de luz difusa -diffuse correlation spectroscopy (dcs)-. Estos h\u00edbridos permiten la medici\u00f3n simult\u00e1nea de la concentraci\u00f3n de hemoglobina total en sangre, la saturaci\u00f3n de ox\u00edgeno y el flujo sangu\u00edneo. En un estudio precl\u00ednico, apliqu\u00e9 el dispositivo h\u00edbrido para monitorizar la respuesta de carcinomas de c\u00e9lulas renales, implantados en ratones, a terapias antiangiog\u00e9nicas. Los resultados sugieren que podemos predecir la evoluci\u00f3n de la terapia con base en cambios hemodin\u00e1micos tempranos, lo cual proporciona informaci\u00f3n valiosa para un mejor entendimiento del mecanismo de resistencia de los tumores a las terapias antiangiog\u00e9nicas. En dos estudios in vivo realizados en pacientes voluntarios, desarroll\u00e9 protocolos y sondas para demostrar la viabilidad de la espectroscop\u00eda de \u00f3ptica difusa no invasiva en el estudio de la patofisiolog\u00eda \u00f3sea. El primer estudio se concentr\u00f3 en la fisiolog\u00eda microvascular de la r\u00f3tula y en el otro se muestra que el manubrio, hueso rico en m\u00e9dula \u00f3sea roja, es un sitio accesible para la \u00f3ptica difusa, y se presenta como una ventana para monitorizar la progresi\u00f3n de enfermedades hematol\u00f3gicas malignas. En resumen, durante mi trabajo doctoral, desarroll\u00e9 instrumentaci\u00f3n, algoritmos y protocolos que posteriormente apliqu\u00e9 en estudios precl\u00ednicos y cl\u00ednicos. Mi trabajo de investigaci\u00f3n constituye as\u00ed un enlace entre estos estudios y abre nuevas \u00e1reas de aplicaci\u00f3n en oncolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
