Para ello, analizamos tanto aquellos materiales ofertados por las principales casas comerciales europeas como los conservados en los centros educativos hist\u00f3ricos de espa\u00f1a, en especial, los de la regi\u00f3n de murcia. En una primera parte mostramos la situaci\u00f3n de partida, la bot\u00e1nica como disciplina, el contexto acad\u00e9mico y educativo de la \u00e9poca como referencia inicial para explicar los escenarios de uso del material en los distintos grados de ense\u00f1anza. La segunda parte del trabajo recoge la catalogaci\u00f3n y an\u00e1lisis de las caracter\u00edsticas, el funcionamiento y los contenidos te\u00f3ricos y procedimentales de los materiales  necesarios para la ense\u00f1anza de la bot\u00e1nica, dividi\u00e9ndolos en cuatro grandes grupos: manuales y libros, material representativo, material vivo e instrumental. Su estudio nos brinda excelentes ejemplos de materiales indicadores de la actividad docente que se desarrollaba, ayud\u00e1ndonos a ver como las nuevas orientaciones pedag\u00f3gicas estuvieron en consonancia con los avances y cambios de paradigma cient\u00edfico que se produjeron en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os del siglo xix y los primeros del xx.    the purpose of our research is the study of the scientific material used in the teaching of botany and its evolution within the time frame of 1837 and 1939. For this, we collect and analyse the scientific material published by the main european commercial houses as well as that still preserved in historic educational centers in spain, specially, in the region of murcia. In the first section we start by defining botany as a discipline, and display the academic and educational scenery of the given time period as a reference to explain the employment of scientific material at the different educational stages. The second section catalogues and analyses the characteristics, the functioning and the theoretical and procedural contents of the necessary material for the teaching of botany, which is divided into four categories: manuals and books, representative material, material and instrumental material. Studying these provides us with excellent examples of the teaching activities developed in those times, allowing us to appreciate how new pedagogic orientations were conducted in line with the changes and advances that took place in the scientific paradigm in the late 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
