Dadas las obsoletas definiciones de la realidad insular y la dificultad que entra\u00f1a actualmente su descripci\u00f3n exacta, hemos decidido tomar como punto de referencia la idea de complejidad introducida por deborah m. Hess en su estudio maryse cond\u00e9. Mythe, parabole et complexit\u00e9 (2011), con el fin de procurarnos una visi\u00f3n id\u00f3nea en nuestro planteamiento de las cuestiones fundamentales de esta tesis.  \tcentrar entonces nuestro inter\u00e9s en la obra de una autora como maryse cond\u00e9 requiere el desarrollo, a priori, de un marco te\u00f3rico que nos proporcione los elementos clave para fundamentar este estudio. Por esta raz\u00f3n, hemos dedicado la primera parte a analizar la problem\u00e1tica que gira en torno al contexto de su obra y al de su personalidad.  \tiniciamos nuestro an\u00e1lisis a partir de la denominaci\u00f3n, del origen y del desarrollo de una especificidad antillana, nociones fundamentales que van estrechamente relacionadas. Esta contextualizaci\u00f3n nos permite definir, desde un primer momento, los conceptos y concretar la metodolog\u00eda que vamos a utilizar a lo largo de todo el trabajo para, finalmente, exponer con m\u00e1s claridad nuestros objetivos, as\u00ed como concretar nuestra perspectiva personal sin dar lugar a ambig\u00ed\u00bcedades.  \ta partir de este momento, somos conscientes de la envergadura de tales cuestiones, por lo que se impone la l\u00f3gica necesidad de acotar nuestra investigaci\u00f3n. En consecuencia, los siguientes cap\u00edtulos de este trabajo han versado sobre un an\u00e1lisis textual concebido bajo este triple punto de vista: oralidad, feminidad y naturaleza, elementos esenciales en la b\u00fasqueda de identidad antillana, que maryse cond\u00e9 ha ido forjando particularmente a trav\u00e9s de toda su obra. As\u00ed concluimos por adoptar esta perspectiva tem\u00e1tica, sin obviar a los eruditos consagrados al estudio de esta literatura franc\u00f3fona, con el fin de profundizar con verosimilitud en el an\u00e1lisis propuesto.  \tnos hemos centrado no s\u00f3lo en su obra literaria y en su trabajo te\u00f3rico, sino tambi\u00e9n en el de aquellos intelectuales de su entorno. De esta forma, hemos introducido y contrastado los resultados con el pensamiento y el imaginario de otras escritoras franc\u00f3fonas, lo que nos ayuda a contextualizar y despu\u00e9s a enriquecer la problem\u00e1tica de nuestra discusi\u00f3n. \ten definitiva, la presencia de la oralidad, el desarrollo del punto de vista femenino y la funci\u00f3n espec\u00edfica que desempe\u00f1a la naturaleza se superponen y se complementan en la obra de maryse cond\u00e9. En efecto, estos elementos representan una triple vertiente que confluye en un \u00fanico objetivo: analizar su obra y exponer diferentes argumentos en torno a una sensibilidad tan especial y, al a vez, tan compleja como es la de esta autora, no sujeta a formulismos y de dif\u00edcil clasificaci\u00f3n. \tla evoluci\u00f3n de su escritura, puente de uni\u00f3n entre pasado y presente, traza un camino similar al del desarrollo de la propia literatura antillana y al de la creaci\u00f3n de otras formas de expresi\u00f3n art\u00edstica que comparten, junto con una historia colectiva, una identidad com\u00fan. Su extensa obra literaria y su aportaci\u00f3n intelectual no s\u00f3lo consolidan la especificidad antillana, sino que tambi\u00e9n proponen nuevas v\u00edas de expansi\u00f3n. Nos permitimos asociar entonces el t\u00e9rmino &quot;redefinici\u00f3n&quot; a la trayectoria de esta autora, motivados por las conclusiones y las constataciones de este estudio: una peculiar participaci\u00f3n en la reescritura de la historia y en la reconstrucci\u00f3n de un espacio de identidad, impulsando, a su vez, un renacimiento literario insular por medio de su prol\u00edfico trabajo intelectual, m\u00e1ximo exponente de la feminidad franc\u00f3fona antillana.   orality and female identity in the narrative work of maryse cond\u00e9  in order to formulate the criteria characterizing francophone caribbean literature more precisely and relate them to the literary production and criticism by guadeloupian writer maryse cond\u00e9, a complex set of diverse factors must be taken into account. Given the obsolescence of the existing definitions of insular reality and the prevailing difficulty to describe it in exact terms, the idea of complexity presented by deborah m. Hess in her study maryse cond\u00e9. Mythe, parabole et complexit\u00e9 (2011) has been taken as a referent so as to provide an appropriate perspective in the approach to the fundamental issues in this thesis.  hence, placing our interest in the work by an author such as maryse cond\u00e9 requires, initially, a development of a theoretical framework that should provide the key elements to support the present research. For this reason, the first part is devoted to the analysis of issues related to the context of her work as well as her personality.  the analysis begins with a set of closely related fundamental notions: the name, the origin and the evolution of a caribbean specificity. From the very start, this contextualization allows to define the concepts and to determine the methodology to be used in the research for the purpose of presenting the objectives with more clarity and specifying a personal perspective devoid of ambiguities. at this point, the scope of such questions becomes obvious; therefore, a logical need to narrow down the research prevails. Consequently, the subsequent chapters in this paper deal with a textual analysis from the following threefold point of view: oral tradition, femininity and nature. All of them are essential elements in the search for the caribbean identity that maryse cond\u00e9 has especially forged in all her work. This thematic perspective has been adopted without disregarding the scholars devoted to the study of this francophone literature in order to delve into the proposed analysis with authenticity. not only her literary work and theoretical writing, but also that by the intellectuals of her surroundings is brought into focus. Thus, the results have been presented and compared to other francophone female writers&apos; thought and collective imaginary, which helps to contextualize and, consequently, to enrich the points of the present discussion. definitely, the presence of oral tradition, the development of the female perspective and the particular function of nature overlap and complement each other in maryse cond\u00e9&apos;s work. In fact, these elements constitute a threefold focus that converges in a sole objective: to analyze her work and to present different arguments on such a special and convoluted sensitivity belonging to an author unattached by formalisms and difficult to classify. the evolution of her writing, a bridge between the past and the present, traces a similar path to that of the evolution of the caribbean literature itself and to the creation of other forms of artistic expression that share a common identity as well as a collective history. Not only does her extensive literary endeavour and intellectual contribution consolidate the caribbean specificity, but also propose further developments. Thus, in sight of the conclusions and verifications of this research, the term &quot;redefinition&quot; can be associated to this author&apos;s work: a peculiar participation in the rewriting of history and in the reconstruction of the space for identity, launching, at the same time, a literary rebirth on the islands by means of her prolific intellectual work &#8211; the finest portrayal of
