Actualmente, estos ecosistemas se encuentran en una situaci\u00f3n de declive que puede verse agravada por los efectos derivados del cambio clim\u00e1tico. Particularmente, las praderas marinas formadas por la faner\u00f3gama zostera noltii (hornemann, 1832), constituyen uno de los h\u00e1bitats intermareales de la costa vasca m\u00e1s vulnerable a los impactos mencionados. El tipo flexible semi-anual de zostera marina l. Es tambi\u00e9n una faner\u00f3gama marina de car\u00e1cter intermareal afectada por presiones e impactos locales.Por todo ello, los objetivos de esta tesis doctoral han sido: (i) explorar la aplicabilidad de los modelos de h\u00e1bitat id\u00f3neo para la conservaci\u00f3n de las praderas marinas; (ii) evaluar la respuesta de las praderas de z. Noltii a los efectos derivados del cambio clim\u00e1tico; (iii) definir las mejores opciones de restauraci\u00f3n de las praderas de z. Noltii en base a experimentos de trasplante en campo; y (iv) evaluar la aplicabilidad de la adquisici\u00f3n de im\u00e1genes hiperespectrales aerotransportadas para el monitoreo de h\u00e1bitats intermareales.Los resultados obtenidos demuestran la aplicabilidad de los modelos de h\u00e1bitat siendo posible determinar con alta fiabilidad las zonas id\u00f3neas para ambas especies en base a n n\u00famero reducido de variables. Dicha informaci\u00f3n puede ser de gran utilidad para su gesti\u00f3n. Las proyecciones de cambio clim\u00e1tico para finales del siglo xxi indican que el incremento de la temperatura superficial del mar provocar\u00e1 un desplazamiento hacia el norte de 888 kil\u00f3metros en el h\u00e1bitat id\u00f3neo de z. Noltii a escala biogeogr\u00e1fica; y que el ascenso del nivel medio del mar y los cambios derivados en la velocidad de las corrientes aumentar\u00e1n la disponibilidad de  su h\u00e1bitat id\u00f3neo en estuarios meso-macromareales. Los trasplantes de campo han permitido determinar la influencia de diferentes factores en el restauraci\u00f3n de z. Noltii. La clasificaci\u00f3n de h\u00e1bitats obtenida a partir de las im\u00e1genes hiperespectrales demuestra la utilidad de este tipo de herramientas ya que proveen extensa informaci\u00f3n espacial de
