Su interacci\u00f3n con un n\u00famero de familias de receptores incluyendo lectinas, anticuerpos, enzimas y virus, desencadena una variedad de respuestas relacionadas con eventos fisiol\u00f3gicos y patol\u00f3gicos. Por lo tanto, conocimientos sobre las fuerzas que gobiernan estas interacciones en detalle at\u00f3mico es esencial para una comprensi\u00f3n profunda de muchos procesos vitales y para abrir la posibilidad de su modulaci\u00f3n. Al mismo tiempo, la alta variabilidad estructural y la versatilidad funcional de glicanos exigen el desarrollo de nuevas herramientas para la sonda de conformaci\u00f3n y caracter\u00edsticas de reconocimiento de carbohidratos por receptores. En esta tesis, se ha hecho un uso extensivo de los m\u00e9todos de espectroscop\u00eda de rmn para ganar estructural comprensi\u00f3n de las interacciones de una serie de sistemas de prote\u00ednas en hidratos de carbono de biom\u00e9dica relevancia. Adem\u00e1s, se presenta un enfoque innovador para la caracterizaci\u00f3n conformacional de az\u00facares y aspectos estructurales de su reconocimiento por receptores, basado en la explotaci\u00f3n de efectos paramagn\u00e9ticos surgido de conjugados de hidratos de carbono vinculante con lant\u00e1nidos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
