En primer lugar, se trata de abordajes en los que se privilegia lo moral como h\u00e1bito o capacidad mental y no tanto como contenido normativo puntual. En segundo lugar, ambos enfoques postulan alg\u00fan grado de innatismo y, por lo tanto, de transculturalidad en el funcionamiento de la raz\u00f3n pr\u00e1ctica. Finalmente, tanto en un caso como en el otro, el momento intuitivo de elaboraci\u00f3n del juicio moral es disociable del momento discursivo propio de su justificaci\u00f3n ulterior. para desarrollar este prop\u00f3sito, el cuerpo de la tesis doctoral consta de tres partes. En la primera se explica la irrupci\u00f3n del m\u00e9todo cient\u00edfico en el estudio de la \u00e9tica, a partir de las consideraciones de charles darwin y herbert spencer (cap\u00edtulo 1\u00c2\u00ba) y del desarrollo de la sociobiolog\u00eda y de la revoluci\u00f3n cognitiva (cap\u00edtulo 2\u00c2\u00ba). La segunda parte (cap\u00edtulos 3\u00c2\u00ba y 4\u00c2\u00ba) consiste en la exposici\u00f3n de las versiones de la gmu que desarrollan marc hauser y john mikhail.
