Su vasta producci\u00f3n, que abarca todos los g\u00e9neros literarios \u00c2\u00bfpoes\u00eda, cuento, novela, ensayo, teatro- se mantiene fiel a una noci\u00f3n de viaje en la cual el hombre, en el mundo, se siente interpelado por el m\u00e1s all\u00e1. La vida es romer\u00eda, es desplazamiento, b\u00fasqueda en el espacio, configuraci\u00f3n del ser que se potencia en la exploraci\u00f3n de los lugares. El hombre, el protagonista \u00c2\u00bfad\u00e1n buenosayres, lisandro far\u00edas, megaf\u00f3n- , todos un alter ego de marechal, se inquietan ante un mundo en crisis, mundo dist\u00f3pico. Los ejes y coordenadas, el cielo \u00c2\u00bfarriba-, el infierno y el purgatorio \u00c2\u00bfabajo-, la casa como centro, los suburbios como mundo de afuera, confieren estructura a una realidad de desencanto, creaci\u00f3n contaminada. las nociones \u00c2\u00bfarriba\u00c2\u00bf, \u00c2\u00bfabajo\u00c2\u00bf configuran de\u00edcticos plenos de sentido metaf\u00f3rico en la obra del autor, ofrecen la alternativa de la verticalidad a ese mundo en el que es f\u00e1cil perderse. Asimismo, la noci\u00f3n de centro \u00c2\u00bfcasa, coraz\u00f3n, alma, templo- establece la oposici\u00f3n entre los conceptos dentro y fuera que derivan en la concentraci\u00f3n y en la errancia. El orden se establece a trav\u00e9s de ejes, de coordenadas, de puntos. Precisar el orden que rige la tierra impone ubicar las cosas en un lugar. El orden, en la obra del autor, es geometr\u00eda que sit\u00faa al hombre frente a s\u00ed mismo y frente a dios y le obliga a interpelarse sobre su g\u00e9nesis y su apocalipsis.
