Una vez detectados los aciertos, carencias, apor\u00edas, logros y p\u00e9rdidas,  procede a indagar los fundamentos en los que polo basa su propia visi\u00f3n:  la distinci\u00f3n tomista esencia-acto de ser, con la profundizaci\u00f3n en el ser como acto, y su ampliaci\u00f3n con la consideraci\u00f3n del ser personal como un acto trascendentalmente distinto al ser del universo.  Inmediatamente, considera el otro aspecto fundamental del pensamiento poliano: su teor\u00eda del conocimiento, que ampl\u00eda el horizonte de lo intelectual y lo inteligible.  Con estas bases, se accede al ser personal como libertad y a su implicaci\u00f3n con los otros trascendentales personales: el conocer y el amar.  Concluye en la consideraci\u00f3n de la libertad como horizonte sin clausura y su crecimiento por la aceptaci\u00f3n de su destinaci\u00f3n donal por parte del ser personal que acoge y da sentido al
