Se describen condiciones geogr\u00e1ficas, econ\u00f3micas y sociales de estas comunidades, contextos que dificultan el acceso a las tics, a pesar de lo cual se realizan constantes esfuerzos por contar con dichos medios para enriquecer los procesos educativos y obtener las ventajas que estas tecnolog\u00edas ofrecen.El an\u00e1lisis sobre el contexto de la educaci\u00f3n y las tics se llev\u00f3 en el instituto superior intercultural ayuuk (isia), instituci\u00f3n que pertenece al sistema universitario jesuita en m\u00e9xico, ubicada en la comunidad de jaltepec, oaxaca.El eje central de la investigaci\u00f3n es la integraci\u00f3n de las tics en las actividades medulares de la formaci\u00f3n de los estudiantes \u00c2\u00bfen la biblioteca, en clases y en tareas escolares fuera de clase -, a fin de contar con un perfil de usuarios de dichas tecnolog\u00edas, y a partir de este perfil desarrollar propuestas que permitan fortalecer los esfuerzos que hasta ahora se han venido realizando en la materia. Para ello fue necesario investigar c\u00f3mo est\u00e1n integradas las tics en las actividades pedag\u00f3gicas, evaluar las competencias informacionales de docentes y alumnos, analizar posibilidades de acceso a la informaci\u00f3n y finalmente, definir y proponer acciones que puedan emplearse para resolver problemas espec\u00edficos en el proceso de formaci\u00f3n. Mediante la encuesta se busc\u00f3 identificar y medir los usos educativos de las tics por parte de estudiantes y profesores de este instituto.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
