En el presente trabajo, se llev\u00f3 a cabo la extracci\u00f3n de quitina a partir de los residuos de crust\u00e1ceos. Seguidamente se procedi\u00f3 a la obtenci\u00f3n de nanorefuerzos de quitina mediante diferentes m\u00e9todos (qu\u00edmico y mec\u00e1nico) a fin de obtener nanorefuerzos con morfolog\u00edas diferenciadas (nanocristales y nanofibras). Estos nanorefuerzos se emplearon en la fabricaci\u00f3n de nuevos bionanomateriales, empleando como matrices diferentes pol\u00edmeros de car\u00e1cter biorenovable (pla, almid\u00f3n y quitosano). Finalmente, los materiales obtenidos fueron caracterizados mediante diferentes t\u00e9cnicas para evaluar la influencia ejercida por la adici\u00f3n de nanorefuerzos de quitina en relaci\u00f3n a su
