En particular, se ha centrado el trabajo en el establecimiento de las situaciones p\u00e9simas de carga. La caracterizaci\u00f3n del estado de cargas ha exigido estudios detallados tanto de las leyes de presio en horizontales en el par\u00e1mento vertical del espald\u00f3n, producto del impacto del oleaje, como la evoluci\u00f3n de las supresiones bajo el espald\u00f3n, debidas a transmisi\u00f3n de la onda a trav\u00e9s del medio poroso conformado por los mantos de escollera.  a su vez se ha realizado un estudio espec\u00edfico de los posibles efectos de escala en laboratorio y su transcendencia en la definici\u00f3n de los modelos existentes y en el dise\u00f1o final de la estructuras. Finalmente, se ha aportado un m\u00e9todo para el dise\u00f1\u00f3 de ensayos de laboratorio que teniendo en cuenta las consideraciones anteriores, evite o al menos minimice los efectos de escala en
