Su acci\u00f3n conjunta permite la desagregaci\u00f3n y reactivaci\u00f3n deagregados proteicos formados en condiciones de estr\u00e9s. Clpb es una prote\u00ednahexam\u00e9rica altamente din\u00e1mica y capaz de intercambiar subunidades entre distintoshex\u00e1meros. En la presente tesis se ha caracterizado la din\u00e1mica de clpb en presencia delos distintos ligandos que forman parte de su ciclo funcional. Elensamblaje\/desensamblaje de la prote\u00edna est\u00e1 regulado por su actividad atpasa: launi\u00f3n de atp estabiliza el hex\u00e1mero mientras que el adp favorece sudesoligomerizaci\u00f3n. El sistema dnak y a\u00fan m\u00e1s los complejos dnak-agregadoestimulan la din\u00e1mica de clpb a trav\u00e9s de la activaci\u00f3n de su actividad atpasa. Elaumento en la din\u00e1mica de clpb est\u00e1 relacionado con un incremento en la eficiencia desu actividad desagregasa. La habilidad de clpb de intercambiar subunidades puede serutilizada como herramienta para generar hex\u00e1meros h\u00edbridos compuestos porsubunidades salvajes y mutantes de la prote\u00edna. Estos hex\u00e1meros permiten estudiar lascomunicaciones intermonom\u00e9ricas que regulan la actividad de la misma. Lacaracterizaci\u00f3n funcional de heterohex\u00e1meros formados por subunidades salvajes ysubunidades mutadas en sus dos nbds, capaces de unir pero no de hidrolizar atp,indican que clpb es una prote\u00edna vers\u00e1til capaz de adaptar su mecanismo decomunicaci\u00f3n intermonom\u00e9rica al tipo de sustrato que deba procesar.
