As\u00ed mismo, se han abordando diferentes niveles de organizaci\u00f3n, complementando an\u00e1lisis tanto gen\u00f3micos como histol\u00f3gicos, y utilizando como especie centinela de contaminaci\u00f3n al muble chelon labrosus, para la cual se han podido seleccionar biomarcadores \u00fatiles a la hora de detectar estos efectos de disrupci\u00f3n endocrina en el campo. Adem\u00e1s, se ha visto que los principales focos de contaminantes con estos efectos son las plantas depuradoras, y se ha estudiado el impacto de las mismas sobre peces juveniles. Por \u00faltimo, se quiso desarrollar un estudio m\u00e1s exhaustivo de la mecan\u00edstica que tienen estos compuestos qu\u00edmicos para afectar al sistema metab\u00f3lico de los peces, por medio de un bioensayo in vitro, por el cual se testaron individualmente compuestos clave y en mezclas, que es como normalmente los encontramos en el medio ambiente.
