Las pilas de combustible constituyen la forma m\u00e1s atractiva y medioambientalmente compatible para producir energ\u00eda a partir del hidr\u00f3geno. Uno de los desaf\u00edos que presenta la operaci\u00f3n de estos sistemas es la obtenci\u00f3n de una corriente de alimentaci\u00f3n adecuada y f\u00e1cilmente disponible. Es por ello por lo que en este trabajo se trata de abordar el reformado catal\u00edtico de combustibles l\u00edquidos log\u00edsticos debido a que presentan un gran potencial para proporcionar la alimentaci\u00f3n primaria adecuada de pilas de combustible.En esta tesis doctoral se aborda el estudio del comportamiento de catalizadores de n\u00edquel sintetizados a partir de precursores de espinela, prestando una atenci\u00f3n especial al control de la metodolog\u00eda de preparaci\u00f3n (co-disoluci\u00f3n, impregnaci\u00f3n, co-impregnaci\u00f3n y co-precipitaci\u00f3n) de muestras m\u00e1sicas y soportadas y a la selecci\u00f3n de la estrategia de reformado m\u00e1s adecuada (reformado con vapor de agua, oxidaci\u00f3n parcial y reformado oxidativo con vapor de agua) de
