La finalidad del estudio, es reivindicar el papel de la publicidad en el medio cinematogr\u00e1fico y en los planes de medios de los anunciantes, en un momento de transformaci\u00f3n del sector y de los paradigmas comunicativos hacia lo digital. la idiosincrasia multidisciplinar de la publicidad implica definir un objeto de estudio amplio. Por un lado, se analiza profundamente, mediante t\u00e9cnicas estad\u00edsticas descriptivas y anal\u00edticas, el consumidor de ocio en la sala de exhibici\u00f3n frente a otros consumos en el hogar. Por otro lado, se estudia el sector de la exhibici\u00f3n para conocer su dimensi\u00f3n y problem\u00e1tica, utilizando las principales m\u00e9tricas, y las medidas adoptadas para estimular el ocio en sala (decisiones estrat\u00e9gicas, promocionales y publicitarias). Para finalizar, analizando los factores de la eficacia publicitaria en cine y las nuevas oportunidades de la digitalizaci\u00f3n en la explotaci\u00f3n del local cinematogr\u00e1fico desde esta perspectiva. el proceder metodol\u00f3gico de esta tesis se enmarca dentro de la investigaci\u00f3n adaptativa, la cual se basa en la metodolog\u00eda de diagn\u00f3stico. De este modo, en cada apartado de estudio se propone un m\u00e9todo y una t\u00e9cnica de an\u00e1lisis diferente en funci\u00f3n de la naturaleza de lo estudiado y de las limitaciones de las fuentes
