De esta forma, el endurecimiento y acabado de la pieza pueden realizarse en la misma m\u00c2\u00bfquina y en una sola atada reduci\u00c2\u00bfndose los costes y el tiempo de producci\u00c2\u00bfn.Esta tesis se centra en el estudio y modelizaci\u00c2\u00bfn del grind-hardening y del rectificado final de componentes de acero. En concreto, el trabajo desarrollado pretende facilitar la implantaci\u00c2\u00bfn industrial del proceso completo mediante la identificaci\u00c2\u00bfn de un par\u00c2\u00bfmetro energ\u00c2\u00bftico que permite controlar la profundidad de capa endurecida durante la etapa de grind-hardening y predecir la ca\u00c2\u00bfda de dureza en el acabado de la pieza. En esta misma l\u00c2\u00bfnea, se presenta un estudio experimental del proceso de grind-hardening aplicado al rectificado cil\u00c2\u00bfndrico a trav\u00c2\u00bfs que tiene como objetivo estudiar el proceso de desgaste de la muela y su influencia en las propiedades de la capa endurecida resultante. Adem\u00c2\u00bfs, el trabajo experimental es complementado con la modelizaci\u00c2\u00bfn num\u00c2\u00bfrica de las etapas de grind-hardening y rectificado final de la pieza para el caso del
