Para su desarrollo, se ha tomado el ps disuelto en decalina como modelo. Inicialmente, se presenta un estudio del transporte de materia, mecanismo y cin\u00c2\u00bftica de hidrocraqueo de poliestireno, que permiten optimizar las condiciones de operaci\u00c2\u00bfn \u00c2\u00bftemperatura, presi\u00c2\u00bfn de h2, agitaci\u00c2\u00bfn, concentraci\u00c2\u00bfn y peso molecular medio de pl\u00c2\u00bfstico, concentraci\u00c2\u00bfn de catalizador y tama\u00c2\u00bfo de part\u00c2\u00bfcula de catalizador\u00c2\u00bf.Posteriormente, se aborda el dise\u00c2\u00bfo de catalizadores bifuncionales de pt soportado sobre materiales \u00c2\u00bfcidos, especialmente zeolitas, y se relacionan sus caracter\u00c2\u00bfsticas con la actividad de hidrocraqueo de ps virgen y la selectividad de sus productos determinada bajo las condiciones optimizadas. Finalmente, se prueban los catalizadores que exhibieron mayor actividad en el hidrocraqueo de ps virgen sobre un material real: un residuo pl\u00c2\u00bfstico basado en
