Una investigaci\u00f3n en el marco de un proyecto ling\u00ed\u00bc\u00edstico de centro  d\u00aa rebeca valverde caravaca  resumen esta tesis doctoral pretende comprobar el \u00e9xito de una propuesta metodol\u00f3gica en la que el profesorado reflexione antes de formular preguntas a los alumnos y alumnas sobre cu\u00e1l es el prop\u00f3sito de las mismas dependiendo de los objetivos did\u00e1cticos a conseguir, as\u00ed como que las cuestiones planteadas desarrollen las distintas dimensiones cognitivas y del conocimiento  y que los docentes involucren a todos los estudiantes en las interacciones orales, de modo que \u00e9stos cuenten con mayores oportunidades de desarrollar las destrezas orales en lengua inglesa. Como resultado de esto, aumenta la  calidad y cantidad de las producciones orales del alumnado, a la vez que \u00e9stos adquieren los contenidos del \u00e1rea no ling\u00ed\u00bc\u00edstica, conocimiento del medio natural, social y cultural, en este caso.  esta investigaci\u00f3n sigue un dise\u00f1o cuasiexperimental con grupo  de control no equivalente y pretest, la cual se desarrolla a lo largo de un curso acad\u00e9mico en 73 sujetos de entre 10 y 11 a\u00f1os (n=24 grupo de control, n= 49 grupo experimental). Ambos grupos reciben la instrucci\u00f3n del \u00e1rea no ling\u00ed\u00bc\u00edstica en ingl\u00e9s a trav\u00e9s del enfoque aicle. Sin embargo, s\u00f3lo las profesoras del grupo experimental reciben formaci\u00f3n espec\u00edfica sobre la propuesta metodol\u00f3gica que conforma el tratamiento de la investigaci\u00f3n (&apos;effective questioning techniques&apos;) y la implementan en el alumnado del grupo experimental. Dicha propuesta metodol\u00f3gica se centra en c\u00f3mo el profesorado plantea la pregunta, qu\u00e9 tiempo le proporciona al alumnado para responder y la forma o t\u00e9cnicas empleadas para elegir qui\u00e9n o qui\u00e9nes responder\u00e1n a las preguntas planteadas. En el postest se registran y analizan las preguntas formuladas por el profesorado durante el tiempo dedicado a las explicaciones en las sesiones del \u00e1rea de conocimiento del medio impartidas en lengua inglesa, las t\u00e9cnicas utilizadas para elegir al alumnado que responder\u00eda a las cuestiones, as\u00ed como las respuestas de los estudiantes a las mismas. Para analizar estos datos se hace uso de descripciones gr\u00e1ficas y num\u00e9ricas para los datos cualitativos; mientras que para resumir y describir datos cuantitativos se utiliza el an\u00e1lisis estad\u00edstico de tipo descriptivo, as\u00ed como procedimientos de estad\u00edstica inferencial con el fin de comprobar la hip\u00f3tesis del estudio y la estimaci\u00f3n de distintos par\u00e1metros.  los resultados demuestran que el tratamiento de esta investigaci\u00f3n aumenta tanto los niveles de conocimiento y cognitivos de las preguntas, como la participaci\u00f3n del alumnado, incrementando a su vez la cantidad y calidad de las respuestas de los estudiantes. Adem\u00e1s, este trabajo confirma la importancia de que el profesorado aprenda a optimizar la formulaci\u00f3n de preguntas en el aula y destaca la relevancia de plasmar este tipo de aspectos metodol\u00f3gicos en el proyecto ling\u00ed\u00bc\u00edstico de cada centro biling\u00ed\u00bce con el fin de coordinar y cohesionar la praxis docente.    abstract this thesis aims to investigate the success of a testing methodology in which teachers, before posing questions to students, reflect on the design, level, and purpose of their questions based upon specific instructional objectives in the classroom setting. Additionally, it examines the extent to which such a methodology increases the quantity of student talking time as well as the quality of student responses both in secondary language acquisition, in this case english, as well as in the subject matter itself, in this case natural and social science.   this study makes use of a quasi-experimental design with non-equivalent groups and pre-test in which the experimental and control groups track the development of 73 student subjects between ten and eleven years old (n=24 control group; n=49 experimental group) over the course of a full academic year. The non-linguistic subject, natural and social science, is taught in english through the clil approach in both groups. However the teachers in the experimental group receive specific training in the methodological approach &#8211; effective questioning techniques.  The delivery of the questioning through this methodology concerns how the questioning is performed by the teacher including things such as the response time given, to whom the questions are directed, and how and in what ways the teacher directs the question session.  data about the questions formulated by the teachers during the time of their content explanation in the lessons of natural and social science, the techniques used to choose which students would answer, and their replies are collected and analysed. In order to analyse that data graphics and numerical descriptions are used for the qualitative data while in order to describe the quantitative data, descriptive statistical analyses and inferential procedures are used to check and verify the hypothesis and its parameters.   \tthe results show that the treatment of this research increases both the content knowledge as well as the cognitive processing that comes as a result of the students&apos; participation in this method of teacher questioning.
