Estas metodolog\u00edas permiten obtener xerogeles de resina y de carb\u00f3n nanoestructurados, cuya composici\u00f3n qu\u00edmica y naturaleza porosa les hacen susceptibles de ser caracterizados por t\u00e9cnicas de microscop\u00eda electr\u00f3nica de barrido, difracci\u00f3n de rayos x, an\u00e1lisis elemental e isotermas de adsorci\u00f3n de nitr\u00f3geno. La adecuada utilizaci\u00f3n de estas t\u00e9cnicas ha permitido identificar la morfolog\u00eda de los materiales obtenidos, analizar su composici\u00f3n qu\u00edmica y caracterizar su nanoestructura determinando su textura porosa. su naturaleza porosa les convierte en soportes \u00fatiles para para alojar mol\u00e9culas, iones o pol\u00edmeros como consecuencia de los procesos que pueden tener lugar en la superficie donde est\u00e1 implicada la interfase formada por el s\u00f3lido y la fase fluida. Esta cualidad ha permitido el estudio de la influencia de sus propiedades texturales en diversos escenarios qu\u00edmico f\u00edsicos, analizando su potencial utilidad en algunas aplicaciones particulares. Entre las aplicaciones estudiadas se encuentran la captura  de forma selectiva y almacenamiento de co2 en una mezcla de gases, el estudio de la influencia del confinamiento de un pol\u00edmero a la estructura y din\u00e1mica con respecto al pol\u00edmero libre y finalmente, su utilidad como electrodos en aplicaciones electroqu\u00edmicas como supercondensadores y bater\u00edas litio
