Para lo cual analizaremos sus relatos obtenidos mediante entrevista, en los que esperamos descubrir qu\u00e9 percepciones tienen sobre los elementos que han formado parte de su experiencia en la misi\u00f3n. En concreto, el tipo de motivaci\u00f3n que muestran hacia el desempe\u00f1o de operaciones de paz, las relaciones que han establecido con los compa\u00f1eros de misi\u00f3n, y las percepciones sobre la poblaci\u00f3n de afganist\u00e1n. a la hora de abordar el estudio hemos seguido un enfoque cualitativo con la finalidad de explorar la complejidad de la cultura de la organizaci\u00f3n militar analizada. Las categor\u00edas de informantes las hemos seleccionado mediante muestreo cualitativo a partir de los datos obtenidos en los primeros encuentros, siguiendo el principio de circularidad. El proceso de recogida de datos ha estado basado fundamentalmente en entrevistas abiertas y semiestructuradas, y un grupo de discusi\u00f3n. Los relatos obtenidos los analizamos y estructuramos en torno a tres l\u00edneas tem\u00e1ticas orientadas a dar respuesta a los objetivos espec\u00edficos planteados. la tesis concluye con el an\u00e1lisis y descripci\u00f3n de tres tendencias culturales encontradas en la misi\u00f3n espa\u00f1ola en afganist\u00e1n, que hemos denominado &quot;institucional&quot;, &quot;ocupacional&quot; y &quot;posmoderna&quot;. Los soldados incluidos en la tendencia institucional se agrupan en unidades operativas, vinculadas al combate y la acci\u00f3n. Aunque encuentran su sentido a la profesi\u00f3n militar en la preparaci\u00f3n para la guerra, han sabido hallar la motivaci\u00f3n en el desempe\u00f1o de operaciones de paz, como una forma de realizar acciones importantes para la sociedad o para realzar la imagen de su naci\u00f3n.  los soldados ocupacionales constituyen una categor\u00eda opuesta a la anterior. Se trata de militares integrados en unidades de apoyo que realizan actividades parangonables a otras en la vida civil. No se muestran especialmente interesados hacia la realizaci\u00f3n de operaciones de paz, aunque encuentran en ellas incentivos tanto econ\u00f3micos como profesionales. Para ellos suponen un complemento de su trabajo, que enriquece su trayectoria profesional y que les proporciona un suplemento econ\u00f3mico, pero no constituye su objetivo principal.  finalmente, los soldados posmodernos suponen una categor\u00eda que ha ido desplazando a la institucional dentro de las unidades operativas. Son soldados que han sido adiestrados espec\u00edficamente para desempe\u00f1ar operaciones de paz y ello se percibe en sus motivaciones, relacionadas con vivir aventuras y experiencias significativas. Estos militares cuentan con rasgos propios de las dos anteriores categor\u00edas, mantienen lazos fuertes con sus compa\u00f1eros de unidad pero, de forma concomitante, est\u00e1n abiertos a relacionarse con miembros de otras unidades, ej\u00e9rcitos o pa\u00edses. En ellos, el impulso gregario de sus compa\u00f1eros institucionales se encuentra atenuado, al igual que su sentimiento nacionalista. Por todo lo cual son quienes muestran un mayor inter\u00e9s por conocer a las gentes y costumbres locales del pa\u00eds donde se desarrolla la misi\u00f3n.    abstract this thesis has the general objective study cultural trends present military organization among the spanish soldiers who participated in the isaf mission in afghanistan, understanding that organizations are diverse from a cultural standpoint. For which we obtained their stories through interviews, in which we hope to discover what perceptions have on the elements that have formed part of their mission experience. Specifically, the type of motivation to show the performance of peacekeeping operations, the relationships they have established with mission partners, and perceptions of the people of afghanistan. when we approach the study followed a qualitative approach in order to explore the complexity of the culture of the military organization analyzed. The categories of informants we selected by the qualitative from the data obtained in the first meetings sampling, following the principle of circularity. The data collection process has been based primarily on open and semi-structured interviews and a focus group. The stories obtained analyze them and structure around three thematic lines aimed at responding to the specific objectives. the thesis concludes with the analysis and description of three cultural trends found in the spanish mission in afghanistan, which we called &quot;institutional&quot;, &quot;ocupational&quot; and &quot;postmodern&quot;. The soldiers included in the institutional trend are grouped into operating units, related to combat and action. While find their way to the military profession in preparation for war, they have managed to find motivation in carrying out peacekeeping operations, as a way to make significant actions to society or to enhance the image of their nation. occupational soldiers are opposite to the previous category. It is integrated military support units similar performing other activities in civilian life. They do not show particular interest towards the realization of peacekeeping operations, although they are in both economic and professional incentives. They are a complement to their work, enriching his career and provides an economic supplement, but not its main objective. finally, postmodern soldiers represent a category that has shifted to institutional within operational units. They are soldiers who are specifically trained to perform peacekeeping operations and that is perceived in their motivations, related with adventures and meaningful experiences. These soldiers have traits of the two previous categories; they maintain strong ties with fellow unit but, concomitantly, are open to interact with members of other units, armies or countries. In them, the gregarious impulse of its institutional partners is attenuated, like his nationalist sentiment.
