Para el autor de la tesis, en ellos se dibuja y perfila un foucault diferente, un foucault inesperado y totalmente contrapuesto al foucault neoconservador esbozado por habermas, o al neoanarquista propuesto por merquiro.  primando pues, el foucault de los escritos aparentemente \u00abmenores\u00bb, frente al que aparece en sus \u00abobras mayores\u00bb en sus libros, lo que nos econtramos es un fil\u00f3sofo que aunque se muestra cr\u00edtico, \u00abarrasador\u00bb se dice en la tesis, frente a la ilustraci\u00f3n, es capaz, al mismo tiempo, de establecer en dichos vol\u00famenes conexiones, \u00aboscuras continuidades\u00bb dec\u00eda el fil\u00f3sofo franc\u00e9s, pues, todo el conjunto de la producci\u00f3n foucauliana mantiene y establece sut\u00edles relaciones con autores tan ilustrados como kant, husserl o la escuela de franckfort. Se nos explica, pues, toda su producci\u00f3n a partir de la continua tensi\u00f3n interna existente en su obra entre este foucault, que el autor de la tesis no duda de calificar como \u00abrecolector\u00bb o \u00abpacificador\u00bb, y el m\u00e1s conocido, el foucault \u00abarrasador\u00bb. y tal investigaci\u00f3n le lleva a concluir que el fil\u00f3sofo franc\u00e9s no es m\u00e1s que un ilustrado tan radical  que se ve obligado constantemente a abrazar y a rechazar simult\u00e1nemanete el proyecto ilustrado, siempre teniendo presente que, la adhesi\u00f3n que \u00e9l nos propone a la ilustraci\u00f3n es la adhesi\u00f3n, no a un sistema, a una doctrina o a un n\u00facleo esencial, sino a un ethos ilustrado que no es otra cosa que una perpetua actitud cr\u00edtica y l\u00edmite que nos impida acomodarnos a nuestra \u00abevidencias\u00bb y \u00abfamiliariades\u00bb que siempre pueden, y dedeben ser, cuestionadas y cambiadas.  su filosof\u00eda se configura, en definitiva, como una actividad teorico-pr\u00e1ctica, como una tarea ingente de cr\u00edtca y an\u00e1lisis de nuestro \u00abhoy\u00bb, de nuestra \u00abactualidad\u00bb, de nuestro
