El labdanolato de metilo reaccion con pb(oac) sub 4\/i sub 2 dando un 64% de 12(r) y 12 (s)-8 12-epoxi-labdan-15-oato de metilo que es oxidado con cro sub 3 dando lugar a un 60% de 12-nor-ambreinolida  y con o sub 3 ( metodo de cromizacion seca ) dando un 76% de alfa y beta-levantanolidas.  el labdanodiol reacciona con pb(oac) sub 4 \/i sub 2 dando los espirocetales 12(r) y 12(s)-8(12) 12(15)-diepoxi-labdano (80%)  que se oxidan con rno sub 4\/naio sub 4 dando un 80% de alfa y beta-levantanolidas y si la oxidacion se lleva a cabo con (t-bn) sub 2 cro sub 4 se obtiene un 72% de 8-epi-12-nor-ambreinolida  que junto con la 12-nor-ambreinolida son facilmente transformables en tisoambrox y ambrox  respectivamente con olor a  ambar gris .<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
