O superiores y por la presencia en el medio de germinacion de acido abscisico. Estos efectos son revertidos por la tiourea que induce toma de agua y elongacion celular con el consiguiente crecimiento de la radicula pero tiene efectos toxicos ya que no permite la reactivacion de la sintesis de acidos nucleicos y proteinas. La temperatura y el acido abscisico interaccionan en la induccion de la termodormicion  produciendo patrones de sintesis proteica in vitro  muy similares y provocando la aparicion de un polipeptido que no aparece en los controles de germinacion normal.
