En el caso de alambres o cables se obtiene una funcion de distribucion weibull para el numero de ciclos en la rotura y para un rango de tensiones dado  tambien se obtiene dicha distribucion para el rango de tensiones y un numero de ciclos dado.  como solucion general se obtienen dos familias de modelos de cinco parametros; pero solo una de ellas es totalmente acorde con la experimentacion. El modelo permiteextrapolar a las longitudes reales. Finalmente se analiza la resistencia a fatiga de tendones a partir de la de un alambre o cable considerando la perdida progresiva de area de la seccion transversal como un resultado de las sucesivas
