La administracion de 17 beta-estradiol o dietilestilbestrol indujo un aumento sostenido de la actividad ligadora de estrogenos. La inyeccion repetida de antiestrogenos tan solo causo un aumento inicial transitorio de la actividad ligadora de estrogenos en las celulas del epitelio luminal  que luego se volvieron refractarias a ulteriores estimulos estrogenicos. Este patron de modulacion sugiere que la substancia ligadora de estrogenos visualizada esta estrechamente relacionada con el sistema receptor de los estrogenos o constituye parte del mismo  y que esta aproximacion citoquimica puede ser de utilidad en la seleccion de compuestos con actividad estrogenica o antiestrogenica.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
