Se aislaron un total de ocho alcaloides de estructura derivada de un nucleo bencil-isoquinoleinico. Se identificaron siete de ellos como: reticulina  isoboldina  corytuberina  stepholidina anonaina  liriodenina y lanuginosina. Se aislaron e identificaron dos heterosidos flavonoides: rutosido e isoquercitrosido. Paralelamente se determino la actividad antimicrobiana de diferentes extractos  encontrandose actividad en los extractos alcaloidicos.
