En estas superredes la capa superconductora esta sometida a tension epitaxial. Se  ha caracterizado la estructura y los mecanismos de crecimiento de estas capas de yba2cu3o7. Tambien se han estudiado las propiedades superconductoras, que se deprimen substancialmente al disminuir el espesor.
