Las estimulaciones fisologicas de la sucesion hormonal como son el sue\u00f1o el ejercicio fisico y la ingestion de alimentos. Los resultados muestran una especial relatividad para inhibir la secrecion de la hormona de crecimiento asi como un efecto inhibidor sobre la secrecion pancratica de insulina y glucajon y una interferencia mas o menos selectiva con la absorcion intestinal. En base a esta selectiva inhibicion de lasecrecion de la hormona de crecimiento y en funcion al prolongado tiempo de vidamedia de este peptido nutelico que probablemente permita una aplicacion terapeutica satisfactoria. Se recomienda valorar los efectos de la sms 201-995 en diversas enfermedades como en diabetes mellitus acromegalia y tambien en tumores intestinales secretores de hormonas
