Con el ligando en forma  zwitterionka  (hl) se han preparado complejos de ni(ii)  ag(i)  zn(ii) ce(ii) y hg(ii); la coordinacion tiene lugar por el grupotiolato que actua siempre en forma pontal salvo en el complejo (hg(hl) sub 2) (cio sub 4) sub 2 en que lo hace en forma terminal. Con el ligando en forma tiolato (l) se han obtenido los complejos (pd sub 2 l sub 2 cl sub 2) y (znl sub 2) en los que el ligando quelata. Se han obtenido complejos de ni(ii)  pd(ii)  cu(i) y ag(i) en los que solo coordina el grupo tiolato obteniendose productos polimericos.
