Se ha analizado la microheterogenedad de tubulina de cerebro porcino purificada por procedimientos diversos  se ha observado que todas las usotubulinas de cerebro polimerizan de forma analoga. Diferentes maps se asocian diferente a tubulina dependiendo de las condiciones de polimerizacion. La microheterogeneidad de tubulina en tejidos no nerviosos (ri\u00f1on  higado  pancreas  bazo pulmon) es mucho menor a la presente en cerebro porcino apareciendo un patron de isoformas que va de dos
