<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Se ha realizado un estudio cuantitativo y morfologico a microscopia optica y electronica durante el desarrollo postnatal y el envejecimiento del nucleo geniculado lateral dorsal de la rata  siendo los hallazgos mas sobresalientes el aumento del numero de neuronas en el periodo anterior a la apertura de los ojos  seguido de un periodo de muerte neuronal natural hasta que al 30
