La absorcion por bremsstrahlung inverso es importante en las condiciones ablativas de interes (longitudes de onda cortas radios grandes intensidades moderadamente altas). Se determinan la estructura del flujo y cantidades globales tales como la presion de ablacion el gasto masico de ablacion y la fraccion absorbida. Se obtienen resultados asintoticos para bajas potencias (regimen de deflagracion) y altas potencias. Se han comparado nuestros resultados de absorcion con datos experimentales para blancos esfericos y planos (el analisis esferico realizado en este trabajo puedeser razonablemente aplicado a los experimentos con blancos planos en ciertas condiciones).
