Teniendo en cuenta la naturaleza sociocultural de esos recursos se evidencian determinadas funciones, siendo las m\u00e1s caracter\u00edsticas: la estimulaci\u00f3n del aislamiento profesional, el reforzamiento del control externo sobre el trabajo docente, la vigilancia sobre el desempe\u00f1o de la tarea docente y de formaci\u00f3n permanente, la construcci\u00f3n de identidades profesionales, la construcci\u00f3n de realidades simuladas y la legitimaci\u00f3n del conocimiento experto.  estas funciones representan un conjunto de significados y valores culturales, que a su vez est\u00e1n significados por la realidad en la que estas herramientas se utilizan. Estas acepciones y valores se con catenan e interrelacionan en los contextos objeto de estudio, dando lugar a un conjunto de pr\u00e1cticas que refuerzan unas actitudes, conocimientos, intereses e
