En el estudio de la fusi\u00f3n por confinamietno magn\u00e9tico es crucial conocer con detalle las condicioens f\u00edsicas del plasma confiando. En este sentido los c\u00f3digos de simulaci\u00f3n son una herramienta muy \u00fatil para interpretar las propiedades del plasma. A lo largo de esta tesis se ha estudiado las propiedades del plasma de tokamaks y stellarators y se ha contribuido al desarrollo del c\u00f3digo de transporte pretor, creado en el jet. Estos estudios se han realizado dentro de la colaboraci\u00f3n existente entre el dfen de la upc y el laboratorio nacional de fusi\u00f3n del ciemat.  el c\u00f3digo pretor permite simular la variaci\u00f3n radial y la evoluci\u00f3n temporal de las principales magnitudes f\u00edscias que caracterizan un plasma de fusi\u00f3n. Para valorar la bondad de los modelos implementados en el c\u00f3digo y determinar la correcci\u00f3n de sus resultados los resultados de la simulaci\u00f3n de las magnitudes m\u00e1s relevantes de diversas descargas se comparan con los datos experimentales. De esta comparaci\u00f3n se deduce que las magnitudes simuladas presentan un buen acuerdo con los datos experimentales aunque debe destacarse que los errores experimentales son bastante grandes y no siempre est\u00e1n disponibles.  en el desarrollo de esta tesis tambi\u00e9n se ha aplicado el c\u00f3digo pretor para el estudio de la parada de emergencia del iter-ddr, con 1500 mw de potencia de fusi\u00f3n funcionando en un estado estacionario en ignici\u00f3n. Se ha estudiado con detalle la evoluci\u00f3n del plasma durante una parada implementada mediante la interrupci\u00f3n del suminsitro de combustible.
