En relacion con la lisis de esta bacteria. Tambien se ha estudiado la induccion de estas particulas con mitomicina c y luz ultravioleta  su composicion quimica  estabilidad frente a varios agentes fisicos y quimicos y actividad biologica. Se ha desarrollado un proceso de purificacion.  por otro lado se ha intentado encontrar algun fago capaz de multiplicarse sobre m. Coralloides d  habiendose encontrado que esta mixobacteria es resistente a la infeccion por fagos. Al investigar las causas de dicha resistencia se ha observado que m. Coralloides d posee una fuerte actividad dnasa en el espacio periplasmico que digeriria cualquier adn extra\u00f1o que fuera introducido en las celulas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos
