Esta t\u00e9cnica se muestra como una alternativa muy adaptada para la aplicaci\u00f3n de la mec\u00e1nica de la fractura en films d\u00factiles, y permite separar la energia total de fractura en un t\u00e9rmino esencial, que hace referencia al trabajo real de fractura, y un t\u00e9rmino no esencial, relativo da la disipaci\u00f3n de energia de deformaci\u00f3n pl\u00e1stica alrededor del camino de fractura. En una primera parte, se estudian las condiciones \u00f3ptimas de ensayo de la t\u00e9cnica ewf para aplicarla a films de pol\u00edmeros d\u00factiles, estudiando la influencia de variables de ensayo como son las dimensiones de probeta, la velocidad de ensayo o el modo de fractura. En una segunda parte, se ha estudiado la relaci\u00f3n entre los par\u00e1metros de fractura obtenidos mediante la t\u00e9cnica ewf y distintas propiedades referentes a la estructura del material. Entre \u00e9stas, se ha analizado la influencia de las carcter\u00edsticas cristalinas, modificadas por un proceso de recocido previo a los ensayos, y del contendio de etileno a diferentes temperaturas de ensayo.
