Se ha tratado de ofrecer una vision general de la mujer y el arte a lo largo de la historia no habiendose estudiado este tema hasta el momento en espa\u00f1a. Tras el analisis general de la mujer como siatagma inserto en el discurso social a proposito de la realidad espa\u00f1ola  se ofrece la imagen de la mujer como la veian  los ideales femeninos- la educacion de la mujer- que tipo de trastruccion se le daba para llevarla a esa imagen- y que educacion artistica recibia. Por otro lado se estudia lo que se ense\u00f1aba a esas artistas e integrar toda la informacion recogida en el siglo pues solo a traves de esa integracion se pueden llegar a conocer  estudiando su problematica  su participacion en las exposiciones  su diletantismo o profesionalidad  lo que pintaban y como lo pintaban  la critica y la vision de sus contemporaneos de este modo se puede conocer el
