Para el calculo de la energia se ha recurrido al metodo semiempirico mindo\/3. Se han calculado algunas superficies de dimensionalidad reducida de las cuales se han obtenido buenos puntos de partida para exploraciones mas rigurosas con tecnicas numericas de busqueda geometrica de cara al calculo de las geometrias de los posibles estados de transicion e intermediatos de los distintos procesos. Para las eliminaciones de monoxido de carbono a partir de las ciclopentenonas estudiadas  se ha encontrado un mismo tipo de mecanismo concertado pero no sincronico habiendose puesto de manifiesto la importancia de la transferencia de carga en estos procesos  y de otros orbitales distintos de los frontera en este tipo de interaccion.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
