Rosario <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El estudio de la pared celular de las formas de levadura y micelio de yarrowia lipolytica no ha revelado diferencias de tipo estructural entre ellas. Atendiendo a su composicion quimica  ambas presentan un contenido similar en dos polimeros  manano y glucano  mientras que existen diferencias en el contenido de quitina y proteinas. No se han detectado diferencias cualitativas entre las proteinas solubilizadas de la pared celular de ambas formas  aunque si cuantitativas. La sintesis de glicoproteinas en yarrowia lipolytica se lleva a cabo con la participacion de compuestos intermediarios de naturaleza glicolipidica  de forma analoga a lo que ocurre en otras levaduras y en eucariotas superiores. Se describe una actividad &#8211; manosidasica sobre p-nitrofenil &#8211;  -d-manosido en la forma de levadura de yarrowia lipolytica.
