Se desarrollan asimismo los estudios realizados por aplicacion del metodo polarografico sobre la reduccion de algunos compuestos hetero-azo-fenolicos y hetero-azo-diaminas por una parte y  por otra  como consecuencia de los resultados obtenidos al estudiar la reduccion polarografica de dichos compuestos azoicos en presencia de iones metalicos  se desarrolla un metodo relativamente sensible y altamente selectivo para la determinacion polarografica de cu(11) en presencia de 2-(5-metil-2-isoxazolilazo)-4-metoxifenol.
