Carmen <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Mediante estudios inmunocitoquimicos y microscopia laser confocal se ha estudiado la expresion de subunidades de receptores ionotropicos de glutamato en la corteza temporal humana normal y de pacientes con epilepsia del lobulo temporal. Se ha observado que la expresion de estas subuinidades con anticuerpos contra glur1, glur2,glur2\/3,glur2\/4,glur5\/6\/7 y nmdar1 presenta una distribucion laminar y celular especificas en las capas corticales. ademas, se observa un aumento en la densidad de neuronas de expresan nmdar1, y microzonas de disminucion de inmunomarcaje de glur2\/3 en la corteza epileptogenica. tambien la expresi\u00f3n de determinados compuestos (en la corteza temporal normal): la enzima que sintetiza el gaba (gad67), proteinas fijadoras del calcio, oxido nitrico sintasa neuronal, somatostatina y neuropeptido y, siguen un patron de distribucion laminar y celular especificos.  por ultimo, mediante tecnicas de doble marcaje inmunocitoquimico se ha estimado los porcentajes de coexpresion entre subunidades de receptores de glutamato en ambas cortezas, normal y epoleptog\u00e9nica.
