Los resultados indican que existen estructuras competitivas de coordinacion sigma en el complejo cu-etileno  mientras que no existe interaccion scf entre el cu(o) y el etileno. Se interpretan los complejos entre metales de transicion (co(ii)  mn(ii) cr(ii)  fe(ii)  cu(i)  cu(ii) y ni(ii) en terminos de su selectividad en la oxidacion parcial catalitica de olefinas. Se interpreta el comportamiento catalitico del ion cu(i) en la reaccion de transposicion propargilica  y los complejos del co con cu(o)  cu(i)  cuh y cu2.
