Los resultados obtenidos en experimentos de difusion de hormonas vegetales desde yemas apicales de g.  aurantiaca  asi como en las medidas de actividad y distribucion de isoenzimas del sistema peroxidasa-aia-oxidasa son consistentes con la hipotesis de que una mayor degradacion del acido indol-3-acetico (aia) en los tejidos de las plantas enfermas podrian determinar una menor estimulacion por la hormona del proceso de formacion de raices. Durante la caracterizacion de una posible raza debil del cev que provocaba en gynura un sindrome mas suave que el de las razas fuertes se detectaron 4 proteinas en los sedimentos obtenidos por ultracentrifugacion que parecian ser constituyente de particulas virales. El estudio realizado al microscopio electronico mostro que las plantas afectadas contenian viriones caracteristicos de rabdovirus. Se ha mostrado que el rabdovirus de gynura es el agente causal del nuevo sindrome de gynura y que puede ser clasificado dentro del subgrupo b de rabdovirus de plantas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
