El sacrificio de los animales se realizo entre los 20 y 40 kg. De peso vivo estudiandose crecimientos alometricos de piezas y componentes analizando el efecto del genotipo en cada caso  y el efecto del tipo comercial (ternasco  menos de 12 kg.; Cordero de cebo precoz 12-15 kg. Y coredo de cebo pesado mas de 15 kg.). Se estudia por ultimo  las variables posibles predictoras del porcentaje de carne de la canal  haciendo incapie en dos situaciones: clasificacion comercial y estudios cientificos
