Los anticuerpos monoclorantes se aislaron a partir de la fusion de celulas esplenicas de ratas hiperinmunizadas con la leucemia rvc. En una analisis hologico que comprendio 85 tumores inducidos en raton y 19 tejidos normal de raton  los anticuerpos monoclorales rh 221 y rh16  mostraron un cotipaje perfecto en ensayos de adversion y ensayos indirectos  de tipacion de anticuerpos. El antigeno reconocido por ambos monoclorales esta expresado para la linea inmunizante y otras dos leucemias inducidas por el mismo virus en ratones de la cepa l57bl16. Bioquimicamente esta molecula tiene 85 k. De p.N. En condiciones reductoras y de 85 y 170 kd en no reductoras.
