El planteamiento  no necesita de una definicion previa de la posicion de la zona de contacto. El tratamiento discreto se ha efectuado mediante la aproximacion con elementos de contorno sobre los que se establece una evolucion lineal no conforme de las variables  al posicionar los nodri en el interior de los elementos  lo que contribuye a una casuistica de condiciones de contorno reducida  que puede ser cubierta completamente. El proceso de resolucion incremental permite tratar convenientemente las no linealidades presentes (geometricas y rozamiento).
