La tecnica numerica empleada es el metodo de los elementos de contorno (bien) en elastodinamica con la solucion 3-d  realizandose el estudio en el dominio de la frecuencia  y buscando aprovechar la simetria axial del problema en el proceso de calculo. Las posibilidades del programa de ordenador implementado  realizado en fortran (ftn)  para un univac 1100\/80  permiten la determinacion de impedancias dinamicas de zapatas circulares rigidas en superficie sobre terrenos con estratificacion horizontal y con la posibilidad de considerar amortiguamiento histeretico en el material  para los movimientos vertical torsor  cabeceo y horizontal.
